Invite your neighbours to a Block Party!  The Town of Whitecourt allows the closure of streets for neighbourhood block parties provided the proper procedures and guidelines are followed.  The Town of Whitecourt may provide a subsidy of up to $500 per party to assist with the purchase of party supplies, which may include prizes, food, and/or miscellaneous supplies.
